King cobra with babies

This King Cobra is my biggest project to this day. It took my about 10 days to complete her.
Like all mothers, she is very protective about her newborn babies :)

The little cobras have just hatched and left the cosy eggs. Now the snakes are really hungry so their mommy needs to feed them.
But first she has to take care of the cobras, because they feel like leaving the nest!

Each scale is handmade using razor blade. I made the King Cobra of polymer clay, wire and aluminium foil.I glazed the snake sculpture after I had baked it.
